Let me say first off - I find all this ‘blog- wordpress’ based scripting all a bit confusing. So I made the main pages using Microsoft web expression software , which means the main default page (and some other pages) exist as a basic html styled website.

I demoed many ‘themes’ and designs for these wordpress pages and posts, and couldn’t find anything I remotely liked for more than a day !!. I eventually stumbled upon a ‘blank design theme’ which allowed me to modify it all myself and make it all look somewhat connected, regardless of whether you’re looking at the html section or wordpress blog section. If you’re new to all this stuff too - then let me explain that the ‘wordpress’ pages are the ones that have the fixed width design look, 2 columns and centered in the middle of your screen - whereas the html design - stretches right out to the far left and right of the screen. If someone out there can tell me how I change the wordpress theme design so that it stretches out similar to ordinary html I’d be very grateful.
